An organisation should be a mechanism to enact strategy. Otherwise it destroys the basis for profitability and success. The allocation of resources and responsibilities, the practices and processes within the organisation, should all be attuned to the strategies. Where they are not, our task is to identify the discrepancy. From that follows changes in structure, systems, practices and processes needed to achieve consistency between strategy and organisation.
